bets on weather for June and July
« on: April 27, 2011, 11:21:57 am »
I'm thinking it's going to be amazingly nice end of May thru June, bugs will be off the heezy, and July will be warm but entirely do-able. August will be backcountry season.

I'm hoping for good weather in June. If I can find a partner I want to hit El Cap...
I do this for fun...

Farmer's Almanac for Pacific Southwest:

"April and May will be warmer and drier than normal.

Summer will be cooler than normal, with near-normal rainfall and the hottest periods in mid-July and mid-August.

September and October will have near-normal temperatures, on average, with rainfall below normal in the north and above normal in the south. Expect hot weather near the coast in mid- to late September and mid- to late October."
Say no to limbers, excavators and retro-bolters. No matter how much he smiles.
