Hey Mark - How to do webbing on large Pika Hook?
« on: October 20, 2011, 06:12:31 pm »
So I have a large Pika Hook and I was wondering about tying webbing onto the top. I noticed that Mark has a low tie-in point and a high tie-in point. (picture below)  Is there a "best" knot to use on the top section? or will anything suffice under all the duct tape?

The high tie in point is only for carrying the hook. If you set it up that way it never catches on anything. I have my beaks and Tomahawks set up the same way.

Wow! omg thank you. What diameter cord do you use for your tomahawks?

I use the same 1/2" webbing shown in this photo. I'm investigating different colors of webbing for different size beaks.
