Virginia to T Trip Solo 6/21/12-6/28/112

This was much harder and way more involved than the Zodiac solo that I did last Summer but also a break through for me in so many ways.... Kind of a goofy video but since we are so starved for content on this site I thought it worth posting.

Good one Brant! That last scene is awesome!

It's so obvious that you love being up there!

I like the way you shoot your vids much better than the talking head vids I do. I just bought a new camera that shoots stills as well as vids equally as well, a Canon S100. It a real nice small camera that has all the capabilities of my G11 but also shoots vids better than my Panasonic vid camera. I'll be lightening my load by a whole pound with my new camera.

BTW, in a few scenes in your vid, your music was drowning out your voice and I couldn't hear what you were saying.

Cheers Mark... I'll see what I can do about the sound but honestly you probably don't want to hear me talking anyway!

Super-impressed with the committment to solo. Two-three pitches a day. . . . that's a big effort. I fixed pitch #14 (bolt/rivet ladder pitch) when we went as a party of three. With your vid, I got to re-live the "Pucker" of rapping back to the belay.

Cracked me up with the disco-boogie celebration at the end.

Thanks for sharing!

Glad you enjoyed the vid. Yeah it's super steep up there.

I wasn't going to include the "disco boogie" but it had me laughing so hard when I watched it that I had to throw it in there...
