Real Nose
« on: November 06, 2012, 02:52:07 pm »
Any one here have a topo for the " real nose" ? I got a quick look at a crude hand drawn thing on Erics website, and now it doesn't work for me anymore.

I kind of need to see this puppy very soon. I read the  Reids guidebook had it, but I do not even know anyone with a copy. Digitized would be awesome, that way I can drool, and print too.

BB,

I have a copy of the Reid guide at the house. I can probably help you out this evening. Just send me an email/pm so I don't ferget!

btw, the Reid guide is a must have bible type book. Thought I saw some floating around.

Steve G recently said something about that topo being kinda off. There's some pretty hard freeclimbing stuck in there someplace(like 5.11)
The location of the Line is there....but there ARE some details.....
But if you're with Shipoopi, you'll be fine......;-)

Not so much worried about line location, as much as gear, blow by blow of pitch difficulties, and where they are in relation to each other.

I only think I know what I am getting into. This will help me sink deep enough into denial to believe it will go. Has it only been done twice? Or is it only done by humble folks, that are hard?

So much I do not know of the line.

Man your in for it!

Early ascent, with Shippoops!

WOOOHOOOO!!

I have found that my best climbing is done without any knowledge of the route.  Look up at the pitch, take what you think you need and just tag up what you really need later on.  No need to fret over a A3 pitch for days when it turns out cruiser.

Have a blast man!@

Mucci's got the right idea.
The route goes, therefore you'll do fine.  I'm seriously envious of you right now, Bob.
It's gonna be awesome!
