Looking at a winter wall in the valley in the beginning of January. Here's hoping for another low snow winter. (my ski friends would kill me if they knew that's what I pray for every night)
Sometimes the difference between a layman and a journeyman is simply what he is allowed to believe himself to be.

I'll be heading up to the Perch as soon as it gets halfway nice. It's better when the 1st pitch isn't half buried(or more) in snow. Best fricken rock in the State. C'mon out.
For now? Waitin' for snow....close snow. Wallin' will wait, for me. But then, I don't live in CalifornIA. If I was closer to The Valley, I'd try something, at least. Winter Walls in the Valley can be glorious. The nights are pretty long, though.

Soloed the Finger of Fate about a week ago, and bailing out from Moab to Zion today. Will hopefully have cahones (and down jackets) sturdy enough to attempt something. Then back up to Squamish to continue trying to tick 'em off..... This wall stuff is addictive

Nice, good to hear that folks are getting after it, or planning same. Keep the fire stoked!
