The Walls of Jericho for me.
Sometimes the difference between a layman and a journeyman is simply what he is allowed to believe himself to be.

nostalgia bump. Just talked to a couple guys Saturday that were going up on Zod.

Stoked for them. Hope they fire!

This was a climb that showed me that clean climbing on aid routes is all about your mindset. We knew we could do it clean and we did without much effort. Others (some while we were still on the route) obviously didn't believe they could and so nail away they did. (I remember reading a TR within a year +/- of our ascent where he placed three heads in some section. We never clipped three heads in a row so I'm tempted to say it was after our ascent but I could be mistaken)

When you think with your hammer, every placement looks like a nail.

Lol.....it goes clean pretty easily, I agree. And it has for some time.
Sad that folks STILL think to nail on it.

thx Wes.

Yeah, just to chime in on a Sunday afternoon... bring a hammer, but put it in the bottom of the bag.

Buy some extra BD C3s. That felt like the tipping pieces for me to make it cleanly (+camhooks)

Hey Munge,

Thanks for the TR.  I'm taking my two partners up Zodiac in the fall.  They've never been on a wall before but solid climbers.  Went up last weekend and worked  p1.  It sure does spit you out.
