So we're renaming on a First Clean Ascent now?

Not sure how I feel about his not-so-subtle Sloan-bashing woven into the TR. Do I agree with everything Sloan? No, but yet another "cut-the-nose-to-spite-the-face" situation of someone using the good of Sloan to trumpet the bad.  Am I being snarky and touchy because in his 20 posts on ST, one of them is blowing smoke up Steve Grossman's ass about Turning Point? The guy that said he and the rest of SAR would be happy to let Smith and Jensen die up on the slab?

Should we change all of the A1 routes to C3+ because every A1 crack is going to be able to go clean with enough clean trickery. But at a C3+ designation? Bigwalls settle into clean at C2, until then, minimize the damage without artificially increasing the time and danger involved.

Obviously clean is what we should all strive for and so good for them, the attacking tone just got to me.

Maybe I should head up there and see how this sucker goes clean as a solo inbetween project weekend... but I've got so many more climbs to do... bah!

Sometimes the difference between a layman and a journeyman is simply what he is allowed to believe himself to be.

Rename is invalid.....I think he was just making his point.
I see YOUR point on the whole C3+ thing. I bet that gets downrated, anyway. Cheers!

That's an awesome TR guys.

I think he's just saying it is my topo that calls for the pins. Nothing wrong with that. Think of how many people bag on Don Reid's rack recommendations.

I look forward to updating the topo.

woot!

I updated the topo. That's easy. The ebook will be more of a bear because it takes longer and will have to be changed out on the shopping cart(coming soon) section on the site.

I date all the topos that I post online, so you can easily see if there have been corrections. Just hover over the topo, and in the bottom left of your screen it should show the file, like .......laughing at the void_2.24.14

Keep em coming!
