Best weather forecast for the Valley?
« on: June 17, 2015, 06:59:30 pm »
ok so I want to go up and climb Leaning Tower before it gets way too hot, if it isn't too late already. I've looked at 3 or 4 different forecasts including the NOAA, weather.com, and forecast.io (linked from Mountain Project) and the projected high is anywhere from 84 (tolerable) to 99 (NOAA, too hot IMO).

What's the most accurate source?

NOAA with pinpoint on the actual formation.

Climbing in valley heat waves is part of the fun!

Bring an umbrella, and salty foods with lots of liquids.

It will be over before it really gets desperate!  LOL

Forecast Point app for iPhone is the best I've found. It uses noaa and predicts to point forecasting.
