You wouldn't happen to work in a shop in Golden?

Nope john, but we have met before. In fact last year you lent me HB offsets and a portaledge for a trip to zion. I've now
procured myself a ledge and some HBs, and I am hoping to get on the dunn westbay in a few weeks.

With a 70 meter rope you can link the first and second pitches or the second and third, we did the first option.
Fourth and fifth pitches go separately. Sixth and seventh pitches can be linked as well as the ninth and tenth with a little rope stretch to the top.
If you only have a 60 meter rope only the first and second pitches or the second and third can be linked.

What date are you going to be up there?

I recently got a digital camera, so I will take some photos.

We bailed, no send. My partner had a previous ankle injury flare up. He couldn't stand in aiders without terrible flashing pain. Unfortunately the injury didn't present itself until after we had dragged all our crap up onto the diamond. We bailed from the top of pitch three after sitting around for a few hours enjoying the splitter weather....
I'll be back in two weeks hopefully.

Thanks for the update ...

The reason was I was asking about Golden is that a couple people at Bentgate were asking me about the route the day before...

Cheers
