The question is, should I replace and get one of these?

Munge,
who makes that lower one? It looks pretty sweet. I'm still using an old Fish double. Probably time for an upgrade myself.

yatesgear.com

no knots, so that's why I'm thinking of switching, but my A5 has handled at least some climbing time, so dunno if it's worth it.

still waiting for my ledge from Russ.

argh, frustrating.

Uh, dude....

You might want to edit the title of your post, eh?  A "wall harness" generally refers to your seat harness.

What you describe is more usually called a "wall rack", which can also double as a chest harness if you happen to pass your lead rope through it, although I never do since I don't fancy falling that extra distance.

Yates makes the best wall harnesses and wall racks, bar none.

Yates is great. Lots of loops, great padding. The only thing I don't like is that the chest strap tend to loosen itself over the course of a day. I got mine in 2000. Perhaps they have fixed the buckel by now.

So I did buy the Yates. It's been serving me well, but being the gear whore that I am, I saw this on Larry's site...

Hey Munge, I have that one and like it a lot, keeps things organized and haven't really found a feature it doesn't have that I think I'd need. Between that and my Shield harness, I have no shortage of places to organize gear.

Of course, it's the only one I've ever had and I am a gumby so take it for what it's worth.
