depending on how much time off I can get after the 31st we are looking at doing wither Mideast crisis or Something on the Captin. I really want to do Aquarian wall for first El cap summit...

I've no plans then, unless I get canned. If I do, I liquidate, and will see you there.

Mung, I gave The Shield a shot once but that's it for El Cap.

It's been a couple years since I've been to the top of a wall (plenty of attempts)...

Had plans to do Gold wall (see nooks TR) this week end. A death in the family has put a hold on it. Hopefully we can reschedule in the next couple weeks. I need to recharge on some rock.

Dave,
if things work out, I plan on being in Squamish the last 2-weeks of August, If things really work out, a week in the Eldrid, and a week in Squamish.
(I know these aren't May-June plans... just thought I'd mention it though)

Since I am still a fledgling in this arena and working my way up to the Grade V and VI my only plans over the next couple months are some cragging in the Valley (Bishop's Terrace, After Six/Seven) and Snake Dike if my climbing partner doesn't have to bail. Hopefully can get on something bigger sometime soon.

Look's like were a go for second week in June .I wan't to be there now but my partner has a real job so.............

Gunning for the Muir wall but the more I read about Flight of the Albatross ............

Just have to see what look's less crowded when we get there ...

Whhoooaaa Iceman, comparing Muir to Flight of the Albatross is like comparing your favorite novel to a sporty short story you find online--both are inspiring and beautiful in their own way but one stays with ya a whole lot longer/gives you much much more gold grit to chew on.

I'm always open to whatever drumbeat I pick up while walking beneath the magical stones of the valley, or hear in the teethy wide smiles of motivated friends who feel a strong pull toward a certain route/formation. Looking forward to climbing the Salathe and Nose more as the season is picking up and getting time off is harder.

monkey call--git sum!

Planned on the muir starting on monday (18th) but...my partner had a 30 mph bike crash
and is in no shape for wall climbing. So now I am looking for partners and/or looking to solo
a route next week. Fun! Anyone interested in spending a week with an el cap gumby?

So plans have changed. No more El Cap for me this spring :( Oh well, now I only have 5 days that I can be in Yos. The time frame I have is drive up the night of the 29th and have to be back the 3rd for work on the 4th. Right now we are looking at either WFLT or something on the WC (Either Skull Queen or Southern Man). I've never been up to the Tower so that's what I really want to do.

Bummer, Zac. But maybe not? Sometimes tight windows make a person productive. Perfect window for the Tower, get one or two bivies on the wall and have a blast. No better wall value in Yo, IMO.

See you guys there next week. Condolence to Monkeys-at-Large (skully et al).

I'm thinking mid-week, hopefully avoiding Mem Dayers.

You guys won't care about us...you'll be living large on one of the steepest walls ever.
