1 Armor

With my leg broken I will have more time to train for the quasi-goal of pulling a 1 armor. I'm not sure what the best training schedule would be to accomplish this. I have heard that doing offset pullups (one hand lower) and increasing the offset over time will get one ready. Are there other specialized techniques to use? I have only a hangboard to train with. Please advise-

Once you get some strength to lock off on one arm, practice locking off at differnet hights. Also after locking off on one arm, lower yourself back to straight arm slowly and with control. I found this to help.
