Zak, hope you don't mind me giving these more play.

If anyone hasn't seen this vid, you must stop everything and do it now...

Diggin' the video. Always love to see video of folks up on big walls. One day (in the distant future for now) I will solo El Cap. Good inspiration here. :)

Best part of the video was when the hook started to skate. The sound of his voice when he said "OH My God" was priceless!
I do this for fun...

"One day (in the distant future for now) I will solo El Cap"

We'll hold you to that, scottydo. Once said...hehe. Why "distant" future? Ya on sabbatical? You might be dead later. Go do it. Lots of marginally talented climbers have done it. It's mostly about wanting.

Cheers.

Say no to limbers, excavators and retro-bolters. No matter how much he smiles.

I say 'one day' cause first I got to get some big wall experience under my belt. I'm trying to get out to the valley for some quick trips soon, but first i have to drag some of my climbing buddies out there with me as well as find the time off. Next May I'm taking 2 (maybe 3) weeks off to spend climbing in the valley though. Goal is to get RNWF and an El Cap route in that time as well as some other climbs.

Sick, sick, sick!  Hooks and more hooks.  My palms were sweating and I got that knot in the stomach start to form.  Nearly started to pucker.

Good job on the climb and the video.
