I was playing around with the leg loops too. It's already set up to be detachable with the new harnesses, it's just a little tricky to get them undone. I guess if it was too easy then they'd come undone randomly...which would be no good.

If it's the first gen Waldo it will have alum buckles on the rear risers which are not meant to be released. These are still floating around waiting for unsuspecting buyers. Impossible even if you cut off the sewn webbing stops. I chopped off the whole damn mess and installed the Fastex buckles off my retired Raptor. Met is usually pretty good, but they stumbled hard on that deal.
Say no to limbers, excavators and retro-bolters. No matter how much he smiles.
