oh, that's really unfortunate.

Tai at Wilson's said they had a couple red/grey hybrids left when I checked.

Elevations in Lone Pine may have a silver/clear standard in stock, last I checked a month or more ago.

sad day

I'm hoping that they have just forgotten to pay for the domain name.

Guess it is time to start looking more seriously at the Metolius pieces....

LB and I had one (purple/blue, similar to a blue/green alien) on Never Never Land.  We were REALLY impressed with it, in fact, I reached for it several times over the alien.  The narrower head width allowed it to have a better fit at times.  It was great....until it broke....  Less than 10 pitches on the thing and one of the cam stops broke.  A problem that many people have seen with metolius cams (TCUs and Masters).  Hopefully its something they will address, doesn't seem like a difficult fix and I can't remember if it made the cam useless or just caused it to open up too far when you let go of it...

some folks on other sites that have been using the new Metolius offsets were saying that they liked them more than they expected. Although I think it will be a while (if ever) that people pick those over Aliens. I imagine it's like home made pie vs store bought ....both are good, but home made is always just that much tastier.

Unsure of the specs, but I believe the overall width is narrower on the Aliens. To my mind that's the crux of an offset for pin scars. If something else will replicate the Alien footprint with an unobtrusive stem/trigger assembly, I'd be on that.

The offset Master cam I have is sick (purple/blue) but Hoi and I managed to break off the cam stop after a few pitches.  I've also used the offset TCU's and those are also the bomb in the smallest sizes (first 3).

All the metolius cams use their cam stops to anchor the springs.  On the smallest of sizes (Gray and Purple) the stops are tiny and if they break that's it, no more springy action.  The Offset that broke on Hoi was probably a bit of a fluke as it was on a pitch described as "loaded with barnacles".

I've had more experience with the purple, gray and blue TCU's than the Master cams but I like them a hole lot more that the Black and Blue Aliens.

the Master Cams are a tiny bit narrower than the Aliens
