I picked one of those up a month ago, and it was in mint condition.  Be warned it's for a pretty small ledge, 74"x26".  In my case I've always wanted to have a Fish One Night Stand, but I'm too cheap.  So I'm making my own, and with a couple minor mods the fly will be for that.  I'm sure that anyone else with a One-Night-Stand would be smart to check those out.  Turns out 6 sections of 18" tent pole is just right (108") for the ultralight fly.

I'm using the corner and side connector pieces from my loaner ledge (3rd or 4th hand ebay special Fish Ledge), and making everything else from scratch (~$120 in materials).  The bed is done except for attaching the foot bucket, then I need to make a set of straps, as the loaner ledge straps are ancient enough to have plastic buckles.  Did the bed with burly 1000D cordura, super thick dive belt webbing for the wall side rash guard (I recommend against it now that I see just how stiff it is), under the bed daisys, etc.  The fly needs to get some straps to attach it to the ledge, since there is less structure to cinch the fly around.

yeah that fly is for the Ultralight A5, smaller then the standard. I had one and sold it cause it was just too narrow...not worth the weight savings.

I'm still looking for a fully enclosed fly (expedition) for my A5 double ledge, so if anyone every sees one, please let me know.

Thanks.

jm, I'm sure you're hip to the I-tent's footprint fitting on your double. But, yea, the shark fin issue. Didder scored a Bibler which had fin slots included. Curious how that worked out...did-man?

Seems like the mods to an I-tent might not be too extensive to do oneself. EC for me to say.

Mike,

I have a bibler tent that fits perfectly but I've yet to figure our exactly how to anchor it to the ledge safetly. Its also hard to set up as well....The fin isn't a big deal because I never share my ledge with another person. My main wall climbing parter has a Fish double whammy and we use that if we are just taking one ledge since it has a lot more room than the A5.

Thanks.

John

Wow, jm, with that in mind I'd say you're over the hump. Seems like with all the guy attachment points on the exterior something crafty should be doable without mega fuss. Screw links?

Set up, agreed, not all that easy. I think if I were serious about needing it, I'd leave it set up and flag it or have the second jug with it like Barker did in Baffin. I'd consider running the I-tent inside a standard fly to keep it hole-free. All great ideas from my living room : 0

Cheers.
