Hard one to answer Munge. It's kinda like picking names for your child. I have a really awesome name for a route, but I have the chance at a FA this summer so I don't want anyone to steal it!
I don't think it's gonna hold....BUT WE'RE GONNA USE IT ANYWAY!

werd

I'm only half kiddin.

I'm mostly inspired by the idea that a climb should be named by virtue of something that happened en route, about the route, or after the route, with a nod in the direction of something that had a massive influence on the climbers, e.g. music songs, alcohol, friends, etc.

I always thought that 80's hairband songs would make great route/wall names.

ie: Every Rose Has It's Thorn, Here I Go Again, Paradise City, Livin' On A Prayer, Welcome to the Jungle, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Final Countdown..... the list could go on

:)

How about "WhatinHellareWeDoingHere"?
I always thought that would be a good one......Especially after a while.
Maybe I'll use that, sometime. We'll see, huh?

I like the relevant names, too. Like, wtf does Cosmos have to do with the route? Cool name, thunk up by Bridwell afterward. And he wasn't even there.

Gotta say my fave name for a grade 6 is Tribal Rite.

My route would probably be called Routebound...
